2022 SPRING RODEO
For the first time in 7 years the Dawson Creek Exhibition Association is bringing Pro Rodeo BACK to the Ovintiv Events Centre, April 22nd & 23rd at 7pm.
As we kick off our 100th Year we are excited to bring you some of the top Pro competitors for a dual sanctioned CPRA/PRCA event. 7 events -Saddle Bronc, Bareback, Bull Riding, Steer Wrestling, Barrel Racing, Team Roping and Tie Down Roping.
With bucking stock being provided by the famous Calgary Stampede Ranch it’s bound to be “Wilder than any 8 second ride”! A Dance in the Dirt will follow the Rodeo over at the Exhibition Grounds, admission with rodeo ticket or at the door.
New for 2022 we are also putting on a Junior Rodeo at 10am both days. Group 1 – 12 and under (NO Leadline) and Group 2 – 13-18 years. Both groups will include Barrel Racing, Breakaway Roping, Team Roping, Steer Riding, Pole Bending and Goat Tying. Contact the DCEA office to enter.
