IMPORTANT NOTES

Read the following in full before filling out the form below.

 

Food Booth Requirements

  1. Liability Insurance - Food Booths must provide a copy of their Liability Insurance Policy.
  2. Health Permit – You will be required to apply for a Temporary Food Handling Permit in advance from Northern Health. If you do not provide this to the DCEA office by August 1styou will not be allowed to set up.
  3. Your set up must be of professional grade. Especially if using tents of any kind. This is an OUTDOOR event and the weather can be extreme. DCEA is NOT responsible for your equipment of any kind.
  4. Food Booths must provide a copy of their Liability Insurance Policy. (We require Min. $2 Million and you must list the Dawson Creek Exhibition Association and the City of Dawson Creek as additionally insured.)
  5. The exhibition association does not guarantee sales for your booth/truck. There will be no refunds given. We will can not guarantee your booth exclusivity of item sales, we will try to limit the amount of the same items and place the booths away from each other.

Vendor Responsibilities

ABSOLUTELY NO VEHICLE TRAFFIC BETWEEN

  • Wednesday 12pm-9pm
  • Thursday 9AM and 9PM
  • Friday & Saturday ANYTIME after 9am
  • Sunday 9am-9pm

This is for the SAFETY of the patrons attending the event. Bring a hand cart or a wagon if you need to move supplies.

  1. You are not guaranteed power on site. Please make sure you have spoken to us or arranged for a generator.
  2. You are responsible for keeping your booth and area clean at all times. All trash must be properly disposed of in the DUMPSTERS provided behind the row of booths, by the midway and beside the campshack unit. You are NOT to be using the blue trash barrels.
  3. All Cardboard must be broken down and put into the CARDBOARD bin located behind the campshack unit beside the dumpster.
  4. GREASE DISPOSAL – We DO NOT offer this service and it is your responsibility to dispose of it. Do NOT leave it behind.
  5. WATER – Please bring a hose as spigots are shared and may be a distance from your site. Grey Water disposal is on site but is not included in your rental.
  6. Fire Extinguisher – must be present in your food booth. The Dawson Creek Fire Department will inspect all vendors as part of the pre-event inspection.
  7. All sales are to be made from your assigned booth/space.
  8. Pets/animals of any type are not permitted, other than service dogs.
  9. All Food Booth workers MUST be wearing their VENDOR lanyard for the current year. This can be removed once inside and working. However there will be no ground admittance without.
  10. ABSOLUTELY NO TOLERANCE FOR ALCOHOL OR DRUGS. IMMEDIATE DISMISSAL FROM PREMISES.
  11. ABSOLUTELY NO TOLERANCE FOR SOCIAL MEDIA SLANDER OF THE DAWSON CREEK EXHIBITION. IMMEDIATE DISMISSAL FROM PREMISIS.

Non-Compliance of these rules will result in a fine of $150.00 per offense and you will not be allowed to return.
